SHK MOSCOW 2010 – Most important meeting point for building services and energy technology in Moscow
Western know-how more in demand than ever! Best prospects for the development of new business opportunities in Russia!
Russia is currently stepping up its efforts in matters of energy efficiency. In November a new act was passed, and the Ministry of Energy is currently working on a programme of specific targets until 2020. The new regulations will affect both commercial companies and private households. By investing in energy-saving activities, companies can now look forward to tax benefits, and private homes will see the introduction of energy certificates.
Interest in western know-how and modern technology is set to grow, and we can expect brisk demand for the construction of new buildings, for redevelopment and for modernisation.
This positive development will also be a major focal point for exhibitors at SHK MOSCOW 2010, the ONLY trade fair in Moscow that combines all areas of building services and energy technology in a single place and at a single time.
When this trade fair was first timed for APRIL in 2009, the date was received very well by the industry and numerous renowned companies have already confirmed their participation for 2010. So far exhibitors’ registrations have been registered by 12 different countries. The largest presence is expected to come from Russia, Germany, Italy, China and Korea.
Scheduled from 20 to 23 April 2010, SKH MOSCOW will be running for the 14th time as a joint venture of Messe Düsseldorf and its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf Moscow OOO. The others that have been on the team with us for the past 14 years are our association partners BDH/EHI and ABOK.
Focus 2010: Energy efficiency and renewable energies
The central theme of SHK MOSCOW 2010 will be energy efficiency. Owing to a new act of the Russian State Parliament and a programme of targets set up by the Russian Ministry of Energy, interest is set to rise drastically in innovative building services and in environmental technology systems. In turn, this will create greater investment incentives.
These will be the focal issues of SHK MOSCOW in its technology exhibition “Renewable Energies” and the accompanying symposium set up for specialists by ABOK (the Russian Association of Engineers for Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning, Heat Supply & Building Thermal Physics) and EHI (Association of the European Heating Industry).
